Police Parade 40 Suspects Over Car Snatching, Armed Robber



    The Police command in the
    Federal Capital Territory (FCT)
    has paraded no fewer than forty
    suspected criminals for their alleged
    involvement in armed robbery, car
    snatching, ‘one chance’ and theft in
    the nation’s capital territory.
    This was made known by FCT
    Commissioner of Police, WilsonInalegwu when the suspects were
    recently paraded at the office of the Abuja Special
    Anti-Robbery Squad(SARS).
    Inalegwu said police from Utako
    and Gwarinpa conducted raid in Jabi
    village, after receiving a robbery
    report in Gwarinpa.
    Speaking on how some of the
    suspects were trailed and arrested,
    the police boss revealed that a group
    of 20 suspects were arrested with the
    help of the victim’
    s stolen mobile
    phone signal which gave away their
    location and they were subsequently
    arrested while many stolen items
    were recovered.
    The commissioner said some of the
    items recovered included one toy
    gun, two golf cars, electronic devices,
    laptops and phones.
